PokerRoom is one of the largest poker gaming sites on the internet. As of August 2002, more than 300,000 player accounts have been created and over 25 million poker hands have been dealt. You can play Texas Holdem, Tournaments, BlackJack or Baccarat against other people around the world. You can play with real money or for fun - with "play money". No downloads are necessary - all games can be played directly in your browser.

Each player's cards are sent exclusively to that particular player's computer. None of the other computers know what your hidden cards are, thus preventing an opponent from hacking their client software to determine your cards. We have implemented a large number of security measures to ensure fair and honest games.

Tournaments

What kind of tournaments are there?
There are single-table tourneys (for 10 players) and multi-table tourneys (for up to 800 players). Currently both types of tourneys are limit Texas Hold'em poker. Schedule for multi-tournaments:

Play money tournaments - Mon-Fri, Sun at 3 PM ET. This free-roll tournament gives $50 in real money to the winner.

Real money tournaments - Every day at 8 PM ET. $20 buy-in, $2 fee.

Player points tournaments - Sat at 3 PM ET with $5,000 prize pool (real money)!

How do I play?

Sign up for an account. You will get $1000 in play money on your account.

Log in to any of our games at the main page. Log in using your nickname and password.

How do I play with real money?

Just log in at our secure deposit page and upgrade your account to be ready for real money. You will be asked to enter your address - it will be used when sending any checks to you. After completing the form, you are ready to deposit money, for example with FirePay or Neteller, at the deposit page.
Please see our step-by-step instructions page for setting up a PayPal or NETeller account and depositing. After making your deposit, just log in to any of our games and select a real money game to start playing.

Are your cards really random?

Both the shuffling algorithm as well as the random number generator have been thoroughly designed to ensure a totally random and unpredictable shuffle. You can view the statistical analysis over 500,000 real money hands dealt in the Texas Hold'em poker game.

Deposit bonus system

How does the deposit bonus system work?
Get 20% in deposit bonus on your first deposit! Just deposit money and play and you will earn the bonus. In order to get your deposit bonus, you must first collect player points by playing. When you have enough player points, you will automatically get the deposit bonus transferred to your PokerRoom account.

How much is the bonus?

The bonus will be 20% of the deposited amount. However, the bonus may never exceed $100, so all deposits higher than $500 will give you a
$100 bonus, regardless of deposited amount.

Each week we will give a prize to the player who is the biggest "play money" winner of the week. The weekly competition starts and ends on midnight each Sunday. At midnight the toplist is reset and all players start at zero in weekly winnings again.
